William Smith Herons Basketball - the Tournament!

Join us for live coverage of the first round of the Liberty League basketball tournament, as the #1 Herons face off against #4 Rensselaer at 8pm Friday Feb.29th

This game will simulcast on WEOS 89.7/90.3 Geneva and 88.1 Ithaca.

If they advance, we'll also have coverage of Saturday's game at 3pm as well.

The Herons and Statesmen face off against Hamilton tonight on 105.7, starting at 6pm and 8pm, respectively.

Where's the WHWS Web Stream?

Some folks has asked us where the web stream is for our shiny new radio product on WHWS? Well, from a technical perspective, we're ready to go. Unfortunately, there are significant licensing issues to overcome before we can legally start webcasting, and several of the entities we have to get authorization from are not being terribly responsive to our queries (odd, since we're trying to give them money).

The short version is that we're trying to get it up and running as quickly as possible, and we hope to have it within a few months, if not a few weeks.

February 2nd - St. Lawrence

Today's Herons (2pm) and Statesmen (4pm) basketball games against Clarkson will air on 105.7FM in Geneva.

By the way, the Heronsare now 16th ranked with a record of 15-1 (15 to 1!!!) and 6-0 in league play. Woo-hoo!
