Tuesday night 11/25 - the William Smith Herons take on Nazareth at 6pm and the Hobart Statesmen take on SUNY Geneseo at 8pm. Both games are at Bristol Gym, and both will be on WHWS!

Statesmen Ice Hockey vs. Curry College

After a tough loss to Elmira last night, the Statesmen take on Curry College at the Cooler tonight at 7:00pm (note the new time) on WHWS! (live stats)

William Smith Herons in the ELITE EIGHT! (Soccer)

The Herons put the smackdown on Johns Hopkins 3-1, so on Sunday at 1pm, they'll play the winner of the Amherst-Otterbein game. All the action will be live on WHWS!

NCAA Championship Soccer - Round 3

Both the Hobart and William Smith teams advanced this weekend, Hobart will be playing in Dubuque, Iowa against Ohio Northern University. Unfortunately there is no broadcast coverage from WHWS or WONB, but you can get live stats at ONUsports.com and there will a live audio/video webcast courtesy of Loras College.

William Smith returns home to face Johns Hopkins at 11am on Saturday 11/22, live coverage will be on WHWS 105.7FM.

Soccer NCAA Championships - Round 2

Hobart defeated Cabrini and William Smith defeated Keuka College to advance to round 2 of the NCAA Div.III Soccer Championships on Saturday 11/15. Both teams play at 1pm, so WHWS will bring you live coverage of the Hobart/Cortland State game at 1:00pm with live updates from the William Smith/Endicott game as well.

Both the Hobart and William Smith soccer teams are in the NCAA Div.3 Championships! This does present us with something of a logistical challenge for broadcasting, though. Here's the rundown as of 11/10/08:
