Dead Air on Sat 11/21 - Explanation
From approximately 5:10 to 6:15pm on Saturday Nov.21st, WHWS and its sister station, WEOS, were broadcasting dead air. The reason for this was due to non-staff user error at the transmitter site, resulting in our cross-campus fiberoptic link to lose power. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Soccer NCAA Playoffs
With both the Hobart Statesmen and William Smith Herons winning their respective Liberty League Championships, both were assured an already-expected entry into the NCAA Div.3 Soccer Playoffs. WHWS will have as much coverage as we can provide; this weekend is kinda on sports overdrive as on Saturday 11/14 we have:- 11am WS Soccer vs. Simmons College (@ HWS) (WHWS)
- 12n HOB Football @ Univ. of Rochester (WEOS) Season Finale!

WHAT'S NEXT? A Forum on Race Relations for the HWS Community
On Tuesday Nov.3rd at 6:30pm in Albright Auditorium, a forum will be held for the Hobart & William Smith community about race relations, in light of the recent incidents involving members of the HWS community.
How can we as a community be educated and move forward to promote a healthier, safer and more inclusive environment? If you are a HWS student, faculty member or staff member, let your voice be heard. Come and contribute to the dialogue.
Please note, this is a closed forum in that it is only open to members of the HWS community.
